Mount Edgecumbe
All year
You can find Stuart's commemorative World War 2 bench in the American gardens of Mount Edgecumbe in Cornwall. The bench is made of a heavy concrete base with a comfortable wooden seat.
The cut metal American soldiers represent the troops who were stationed at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park during the Second World War. Many gave their lives during the operations that followed.
It's a quiet place to sit and contemplate life and memories.
